True Story: A very good high school pitcher that was drafted out of high school between the 15th & 20th round signed with a major D1 and reported in the Fall. The player received an average of 3 phone calls each week from a JUCO asking the player to transfer at the xmas break while he was attending the D1. Is there a rule against the JUCO doing this or is it just not the ethical thing for a JUCO coach to do?
The player transfered at the break and now the D1 coach will not even look at any players from that JUCO in the future.
