We are in shock...Junior Seau will be missed and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Seau grew up in Oceanside CA (North San Diego County) and was a terrific athlete in high school. He went on to USC (Southern California) and was one of the dominant Linebackers for the Trojans. The home team Chargers drafted him in the first round (5th overall) and he spent 12 All Pro seasons in San Diego. He was/is an icon in San Diego, actually...in all of Southern California.

I've never heard a negative word spoken about #55. He was loved, respected, and admired by the fans, his teammates, and his opponents. In addition, Seau gave back to the community and was very much involved with a number of charities throughout the years. He was cordial to anyone that approached him, whether it be in his restaurants or out in the water surfing in Oceanside...it's a sad day in So Cal.
