Yes, Gasme is at the tourney, I hope to find them tomorrow.
There are a few websters whose sons are playing all at the same time out in the red fields same time as I will be there, hope to hook up with everyone!

It poured this afternoon, thunderstorms, not sure if it did in Jupiter.
Our 8am game got off to an 11 pm start after an evening of rain and a morning of drizzle and some ugly mist.
I got a chance to meet up with some of the HSBBW folks, it was great. No11, Coach Merc and two parents whose sons were on sons team, goldenretriever and baseballguy. I also got a chance to say hello to Jerry plus some coaches that I know from sons recruiting experience as well as his former coaches.
I had a lot of fun seeing things from another view. I also saw lots of your kids coaches, putting a face to who coaches your sons.
Army must have been watching someone on son's team, as they were hanging around the two games today and son said on friday and saturday too. UNC and UM also were lurking as well as many other coaches from all differnt types of programs. There is a program out their watching for every type of player. I didn't notice as many scouts, though they are harder to identify than the college coaches in their team shirts.

I met a dad whose son plays on the same team as Coach Merc, who told me that one of his sons top choices watched him play one day and gave him an offer the next day in jupiter.

One thing about the tourney, be prepared and come to play your best, you never know who may be watching. Wink
Yes, certainly one of the best parts of the trip to Jupiter was to get here and find TPM's son David helping to coach baseballson's team. My son thoroughly enjoyed hearing and learning of TPM's son's experiences as both a Tiger and a Cardinal. Not sure, but my son may have enjoyed some of the "dugout time" nearly as much as the time on the field. I've also got to say that Matt Schimmel from PG, who was the head coach, was great. Matt was very helpful, did a great job coaching and always made himself available to throw BP whenever the team wanted to take some extra hacks.

Finally, after the last game I got to meet the famous TPM herself...and, indeed, it was a pleasure. It is easy to understand now why young David K. is such a personable young man.

Not sure where baseballson will end up school-wise, but our experience at this year's Jupiter tournament re-affirms my belief that baseball people are really the best. Thanks PG for another great event. It's been said before, but if you haven't been, its truly hard to explain how good an event Jupiter really is.

Congrats to ABD Bulldogs!
SDBB were you there? The Bullgogs were standing right behind me waiting for the game to end! Where is your son headed to next year?

Some coaches I know told me they thought it was the best Tournie Jupiter has ever had, with just a little bit of rain to hold things up.

Great experience, but don't come unless you are prepared to play against some of the best HS players in the country.

It's even a great event to take in as a spectator. Wink

TPM (and others),
Yes I was there, and glad I was, to see Jonathan throw the no-hitter. And I'm glad he got to do it in front of his future coaches at Clemson. Sorry I couldn't catch up with some of you, but our visit to Jupiter was quick in and quick out. Probably only on Florida soil for about 36 hours, so we missed the playoffs, medals and so on. I was able to hook up with some of the other Clemson recruits and parents, plus a number of other families we've come to know over the years on various teams and tournaments. Such a great atmosphere and showcase of talent at Jupiter...I can see why everyone loves to go.
