The Jupiter tournament it is a very coveted tournament. I think most teams and players would like to be there since every scout in the world seems to be. It was 85 and sunny yesterday too.
Sticking to your line of thinking, I would think our Sox/Cubs would love to be there right now but they obviously didn't EARN it. Even more importantly is to keep the intergrity of the coveted tournament as you say? I agree most teams and players would probably like to be there but again MOST have to EARN it, they don't get a free bid.The best things in life are not always FREE

Only a small group of the teams in Jupiter had to qualify. Most of the teams are there on open bids.
Rain last night affected the fields/schedule. Good chance Cangi team does not play until tomorrow A.M.
Today the Cangy and Bo teams finished their pool play. Cangy finished 4-0 and will face the winner of tonights FL Bombers / Diamond Devils game. Playoffs will begin Monday morning. Bo finished 2-2.
FYI Fields improved to finish the regularly scheduled games. Cangi won 4-2. Bo Jackson lost. Cangi plays tomorrow at 800 am.

With the regiment of Sparks guys all over this thread, maybe we can finally get an answer that's been asked a few times and by a few different posters. Can anyone tell me where the 2008 Illiana Sectional in the Connie Mack WS was played, and who the Sparks beat to move on to Michigan? It seems like a very simple, direct question but it has never been answered.

Yes, sorry, that was supposed to be sarcasm. Someone earlier suggested that Cangy/Sparks didn't "earn" a bid to Jupiter.
I think they're holding their own down there.
