Well, it's probably been seven years since I logged on to HSBW.  My son's grown and has his newborn baby boy.  I used to post here as far back as 2000.  I met numerous wonderful baseball parents, during the years I posted.

From checking the members, it looks like Fungo still stops in for his two cents.  I had coffee with him, years ago.

Seriously, this site provided so much information and knowledge, back when my son worked his way thru HS and college ball.Enjoy the ride, folks.  The time flies by so dang quickly.

Be good,

GREAT to hear from you, David!

Has it really been 7 years!? It certainly does go by quickly.

Congratulations to the entire family on that wonderful news! Sounds like the "ride" is still going for all of you...just in a bit of a different form.

Here's an "old timer" who hopes we'll now begin to hear from you with more frequency. It's not only the 7-year variety of itch that needs to be scratched.

All the best to you and yours!

Hey, Prepster.  Long time no read.   Actually, I now have six grand kids, five boys and one girl....another boy due in four weeks.  One plays machine pitch and another plays T-ball.  I hope I've learned from the original ride.

I still support Sam Houston State Baseball.  Actually, I've become very close friends with their current head coach.

Jesse, as I mentioned, just had a little boy four months ago.  Jesse turned 30 last year, and has become a strong asset of my company.  Jeeeezzzz, ten years a go I thought he'd never grow up.

I hope all is well for you and your family.  I assume you're watching some generation of yours playing ball?

Be good,

David
