The other night Zack hit the walk off homerun to keep his team in all-stars. Tonight he pitched 4 no hit innings in 103 degree heat, gave up a couple of hits in the 5th and shut em down in the 6th. Score tied again in the bottom of the 6th and he led the inning off with another walk off. Not bad for an 11 year old. Needless to say, Mom and Dad are very proud! How is everyone else doing in thier tournaments?

I bet he has had quite a smile om his face lately!
I think that anybody can hit the ball a mile with enough practice with the bats that are around today, but what puts your son ahead of the curve is that he can do it when the pressure is on. I have coached a lot of kids that can hit the cover off of the ball until you put someone on 3rd in the late innings.

The only difference that I have seen between good and great hitters is that the good hitters feed on the pressure.

Keep up the good work
