Crisp, clean, hustle, effort, enthusiasm, disciplined, purposeful, collegial, teamwork, freshmen eyes wide open, upper classmen trying to set the tone, everyone with a duty...put simply, the way the game ought to be played.
I always tried to get my youth teams to go watch college baseball for many of these reasons...I now think I should get them to go watch practice too.
No, they're not the best/most talented baseball players in the world. But they are there for the love of the game and I just love watching it! I cannot imagine ever getting tired of watching the college game.
