im not really sure becuse im an outfielder.. get a leather glove ( make sure its real leather) when u go to the place to buy ur glove make sure u ask what glove they would suggest... another tip get a glove that fits but make sure its not to big.. i found a smaller glove works better as long as it fits...

When u get ur glove make sure u oil it and put it in the oven.. ill get u the diretions if u want them.. it really helps... then after u put it in the oven put a baseball in the pocket of the glove and tie a string around the glove really tight then up it under ur mattress and sleep on it for 1 or 2 days... it will b unconfrable but it will help a lot.. then after that throw as often as possible to help break it it

If you have a real leather glove, All you have to do is:
First put valosine on it but not to much
Then you play catch for a couple days
Then put olive oil over all the leather
If you do that ur glove will be game ready in one week
