justbaseball and I tweeted one another last night a couple times.  He's extremely excited & nervous, as you might imagine.  He flew to Atlanta per his Twitter account to catch the Nats/Braves game tonight, and JB is running on two hours of sleep....Awesome stuff!

Very sweet!  I can't wait to see his "Natitude".   Nats could use a lift right now. 

Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heartI. We made it to Atlanta in time for the game last night (barely) and Erik was warming up when the game ended in the 11th (I think.).

 

The experience and feeling has been simply amazing. This may be a short call up as the Nats are plugging holds right now. He actually took Bryce Harper's spot who went on DL yesterday.  But we don't know nor does he. Day by day.

 

Again, thanks so very much for all the support of this community over the years. I can tell you it made A HUGE difference for me.

This is fabulous.  Especially since not too many years ago he was hit in the face by a line drive while playing in the Cape Cod league...... I wonder how many people would have ended their playing days if that happened to them.  Just goes to show you what a talented and committed player Erik Davis is.

How exciting!! Congrats!!

For all of those who call the old timers negative, stale, boring, cronies, etc, they have no idea what many of the websters players that have made it to a higher level (in Erik's case the highest), have had to go through.

 

Erik has had a great debut.  I feel like my own son made it to the show yesterday.

 

This what the HSBBW is all about.
