It looks like we may be moving across the state (we're in St. Louis) around the end of summer. My son currently plays on a 12U USSSA Major team and I'll be looking for a team of the same caliber when we get up there. I know there's some good clubs over there as we've played against some of them in the past at tournaments.
Is there a message board of some kind for KC area baseball where coaches post for players wanted and players who are looking for teams can also post?
I'll be seeking a team that really focuses on skill development and has knowledgeable coaches who focus on instruction when at practice. We currently have a great team with a great coaching staff who really work with the kids on skill development, not just throw BP and hit ground balls. They really focus on the proper mechanics and teach very well and it'll be very hard to give that up.
So, if anyone is up on KC youth baseball, knows some websites or forums to visit so I can investigate further, I'd appreciate any info you can share.
