The game went 5 innings on "Senior Night".

Karns had 12 hits over 4 innings and 0 Errors.
Clinton had 5 hits and 3 Errors.

Karns had Cale Iorg 2 for 2 with a BB, 1 HR and a 2B (3 RBI's)
Wesley Lee 2 for 3 with 1 HR and 1 1B (4 RBI's)
Alex Henry was 2 for 2, also had 2B's by Shane Ownby and John Briegel.

Senior Eric Hill got the start and scattered 5 hits over the 5 inning game, Eric goes to 3-2 on the year.

Karns is now 12-18 (9-1 3-AAA), Clinton 9-18 (2-9 3-AAA)
Looks like if Karns can win one of their 2 remaining district games, they will win 3-AAA. Karns plays at Central tomorrow (Wednesday) and have Halls on Thursday.

It was a great Senior night, The home plate ump threw out the entire student section and confined Coach Sharp to the dugout.

TV Station "8" was there, may have #15 HR on TV, but they were really there to see Cale Wink

Way to go #15. He's coming into his own as a hitter this year. I'm really happy for Wes.

Looks like Karns is poised for its second consecutive regular season district crown. Congratulations. I guess Karns clinches at least a tie if they win tomorrow.

I would be lying if I wasn't envious. Have you seen the bloodbath going on over in 4AAA? Before tonight there were 6 teams within 1 win of each other.
Bizazz,
Yes, I don't envy the race that is going on in 4-AAA. That was a tough loss tonight against South-Doyle, but sounds like a true baseball game that I would of like to see.

Wes knows that the sun is setting and seems to watch each pitch as it might be his last. He was as happy last night as I have ever seen him. He had a lot of family at the ballfield on senior night...it was special.

Thanks
