Saw part of Karns scrimmage with Maryville last night. Karns was hitting the ball really well. Looks like they are ready for the spring season. HV: I looked for you but didn't find you anywhere!?

I left after 4 1/2 innings... the score was tied 0-0 at that point. We put in a lefty that I understand issued some walks and hits. I didn't get the score, but son said it got ugly after that.

Sorry I missed you, but I had to go to the funeral home.

HV, did Maryville catch Karns looking ahead to the big scrimmage vs. West on Saturday?

After all the pitchers we've used this week, and next week's schedule, we may have to bring up some 8th graders to pitch against you.
