Hi,..just wondering if anyone went and what they thought about the Slugger try-out/showcase held today at the T-Bones stadium. Anyone go?

Well I talked to one of my players and I was pretty disappointed. Apparently the infield was flooded (I'm checking rainfall for that area on July 4) and they set up some bogus mock infield in the outfield... hit em 4-5 grounders, clocked 'em, watched them hit in a "cage" gag gag gag gag.... makes me puke... go to a different field if that one won't work... this is bull you know what that they took kids' money for that type of "showcase" ... Was it a PG? if it was i am very disappointed.... anybody want to dispute what i am saying ??? i was not there but man if my guys is giving me the straight poop that is bush-league.
Rainfall: Looks like they got 1.25 on the early morning of the 4th... the tryout was on the 5th ... looks like a Bull Durham rainout to me.
