Keep Hitting Ground Balls

Take some video, buy some DVD's and read everything you can get your hands on concerning the art of hitting. There is much to learn and thus, many possible causes for his ground ball funk. Either you learn, so your son can, or get him some good instruction, soon rather than later. Hitting well isn't something taught or fixed over night. The journey is long, never too late to begin though unless he's out of high school.

Your son maybe doiung the following.
1. roll over his wrists too soon. the wrists need to swing the bat "like" an axe.
2. stand too deep in the box. he maybe hitting the slow pitch on its "downward" movement.
