I felt very disappointed for Jack Coates this morning when I opened the Va. Pilot and saw that Jack's 7 inning NO HIT performance versus Salem last night only received ONE sentence on the second page of the sports section ? What a shame it is to do something that almost NEVER happens in the beautiful game of Baseball and then receive almost ZERO attention from the local newspaper ? I hope that his 9-1 pitching record doesn't go unnoticed when it's time to select post season accolades. CONGRATULATIONS Jack Coates for throwing a NO HITTER in such a meaningful game for your Kellam Knights. Ok, I'm done...
