I'm sure it's a real swank place. But be careful...if you don't pay your fee they lock you and your team inside until things are settled up.

Judging by the photos I've seen this wouldn't be a bad place to be cooped up for a weekend.

How old is this facility? Looks pretty new.

Never played a game there but was there for a camp last summer with my son it's a pretty nice facility. I think it's only been opened up for a little over a year.

Fantastic facility for practice but not sure about games as we have never played one there. I knew they ran some softball games there in the past. It has great turf, you can throw 300 foot plus in there for long toss. The folks that run the facility do a very nice job. There is also basketball, track and a workout facility. Let us know how the games go.

Very nice place. There is a restaurant/ microbrewery/pub next door called The Onion Pub. Great place to tip a pint, grab a sandwich, and catch a game on the tube!

Pappi, what did you have the bases and mound set at for that age group. Usually it is set-up for softball. I have set-up 90' bases in there but just infield no game. Thought it might be a little short for 13 year olds.

Glad it worked out, if you go back there is another baseball facility right across the strea called pbi it has an infield cages and all that also just not as big.

Spoke with a buddy with a son who recently played a triple-header there. Some wacky things happen - turf causes unnatural sideways spins, white roof/white ball. To the good: 72 degrees in March and an overall great facility.

used to hit 300 thx for the report on fieldhouse. When it went up I don't think they were thinking baseball as it has 2 diamonds set up for softball as maybe the yellow balls work better.
It does work great for long toss and infield practice for boys of many ages.
Works real well for football and some other sports as well as speed and agility work.
Is also an great place for teams to practice with some of the weather we get here in chicago.
Sure wish I had some of these places when I was a kid growing up. the fieldhouse, Mcook, cangy's facility white sox facility, great for any players that want to get some work in.
By the way that white roof reminds me of the metro dome.
