GOOD START FOR THE FALCONS. BOYDSTON LOOKED GREAT, GOT OUT OF A COUPLE JAMS WHEN THE DEF LET HIM DOWN. STREET LOOKED LIKE AN ALL STAR AND THE TEAM HIT GREAT. = Edited = STILL STRUGGLING. MURRAY DID IT ALL AS USUAL. SOME NEWCOMERS THAT REALLY CONTIBUTED WITH THE BAT AND SOME WITH THE GLOVE LIKE STURDY AND MALCOM. DONALD LOOKS TO HAVE FIGURED IT OUT BEHIND THE PLATE. There is alot said about the studs at Coppell, Irving, Flower Mound etc....

Michael Murray is a sophmore at Lake Dallas and started last year as a freshman. The kid is one of puriest hitters I have seen, and he is a lefty.
Plays his select ball with the Tiger Organization and has been since he was ten.

You will hear alot more about this kid over the next couple of years!

You have got to be kidding me with this statement. The narrow mindedness of some people simply amazes me. IT'S A TEAM SPORT!

How about some of those pitches that weren't where they were supposed to be, or that base on balls.

You don't hear others talking about how bad the pitcher did (or at least you shouldn't) especially in a public forum.

It's just amazing to me that people really have no idea how the game really works.

Off the soapbox for now!

All I can say JAFO is WOW

I have no idea who the person is who posted that message that disturbed you so much.

In reading, rereading, and reading the post again, I think you went way over board in your criticism.

First of all, the poster did not (on a public forum) mention any young man in a negative way. As a matter of fact JAFO, when he did mention a name, and he did name a few, they were all in a very positive way.

Secondly, were you at the game?
I was!

I do not care if it was Boydston pitching, John Doe piching, or Will Smith pitching, all the poster stated was the pitcher did a good job and got out of a couple of jams that the DE got into. Again, no names mentioned in a negative way, and he did not mention the pitcher in a ALL MIGHTY GOD WAY either.

For your info JAFO, since you were not at the game, the jam he is refering to was in the second inning when the first two batters reached on errors and made it to second and third with no outs. All the poster was stating was the pitcher did a good job of getting out of the inning without allowing a run.

Reread the post JAFO, the poster praised many kids on the team that night and stated the facts without pointing any fingers at any one individual.

I actually thought it was a pretty positive post for the boys.

So please Mr. JAFO, have your facts straight, and maybe step down off your high horse before you post.

Again, all I can say is WOW!

Sorry Panther Dad, he hit a nerve! Mad
To be honest, I did not see one good point in Mr. JAFO's post. Nothing but negativity.

I agree Panther Dad, the pitcher is one of nine players, but my point is he gave the pitcher credit for getting out of a jam. Just like he gave some other kids credit for swinging the bat well or flashing some mean leather. As the very first comment states" GOOD START FOR THE FALCONS" not good start for Sturdy, or Malcom or Boydston. The first comment spells out team.

That post had no negativity towards it what so ever and for JAFO to present as so is ridiculous.

Again, the post praised Lake Dallas and its kids for a great first game. Period!

I'm done so lets move on to todays tournament games!!

Doesn't even warrant a response. You're missing the entire point. But that's ok. I understand you are upset because of your homerism. It's not about the team. It's about running down the defense on the team.

Thanks for your response.

Sorry PD. You know me, never at a loss for words that seem to get misunderstood. But you know.....I don't care.
