LaRoche College

I know they do well in their conference. I believe they got the bid for regionals last year. Once they got there they went 1-2. Over all last year they were 31-15.

LaRoche is a highly respected baseball D3 program in W. Pa. Coach Rowe brings in some very talented players.  Coach Rowe is very respected and highly thought of among the local college coaches. LaRoche is known for strong academics. We never looked into the school much for my son, but my daughter will be looking into it more in the next year or so as they have a couple of programs she is interested in.

 

They have a nice on campus ball field. I know they are doing some upgrades around the field this summer. My son played quite a few games there this summer, once the construction mess is cleaned up it will be top notch. The playing field itself is always impeccable.

 

I actually just talked to a young man last night that graduated this spring after 4 years there.  He and the other young men I know that have attended are all outstanding individuals. If the 4 or 5 players I personally know that have gone there over the last few years are any indication of the type of recruit that Coach Rowe goes after, congratulations on him wanting your son there.

 

Going to a D3 regional last year is a pretty good indicator they are doing something right on the baseball field. Academically you can’t go wrong if they have a degree offering your son is interested in.
