Lassiter hurler hopes appearance in All-American game sets off his future

Obviosly this kid has some talent... but what do you folks think about his landing foot position?

Cant tell from the photo , it is a pick off to first base. You need to look at the pitching rubber and the position of the infielder.

I believe the actual summer record for the Braves should not have been posted as 75-2, but 75-2-1, as my kid was on the team lucky enough to scratch out a tie with them in the 17u Wood Bat.

The kid is a flat out stud. With a fastball that he can run up there in the low 90's and then he has that 12-6 nasty hook that he can command at will. This guy is tremendous. I got the chance to see them play at least four or five times between the 18u and 17u WWBA and that team was great. Speed , power , great defense and a pitching staff that was second to none. Lets see how many AFLAC guys did they have on that team. I think it was five or six at least. Maybe the best all around team at this age I have ever seen. This kid is a first rounder imo. I think he has verballed to Ole Miss.

He is very very good. I have faced him plenty of times in the summer and during high school season since he plays for one of my high school's rivals.
