Last year, it seems, virtually every game we played, we had the wind blowing in...Our field is oriented so that home plate is South and left field is North....Seemed that the wind was always blowing in from the North.

Who has fields that are oriented with home plate North with left field South and the wind is blowing "out" in the springtime?

Left field at our home is facing north. Our predominent winds are from the SouthWest. Therefore, it is blowing out more to right center-center than anywhere else. However, our field is 325 down the line 375 to power allies, and 390 to Center. Maybe not the biggest field around but still, as far as high school fields go, it is big. Not many big flies are hit there.

If it is possible, please give dimensions. I think it will give some of us a better idea of the launching pads. I have heard that one team in the South Seven Conference has a diamond that is 250 feet down the right field line. Wow, I used to hit softball out of parks 50 feet bigger than that. I don't know if it is ture since we don't play that team.
