Launching pads in high school...

Left field at our home is facing north. Our predominent winds are from the SouthWest. Therefore, it is blowing out more to right center-center than anywhere else. However, our field is 325 down the line 375 to power allies, and 390 to Center. Maybe not the biggest field around but still, as far as high school fields go, it is big. Not many big flies are hit there.

At Minooka the wind is blowing out to Right field nearly every game. I think the game against Lockport last year speaks for itself. 18-17 Lockport, total of nine home runs hit.

How about left Field at Hinsdale Central ??

I think that they have it posted at 297', but I also think it is more like 177'.

right field at Stagg is about 233'.

Evanston has a right field fence to rival his cent. and it extends into right center a good bit.

Yeah at least at Evanston the wall is like 15-20 feet high, does Hinsdale Central have a high wall in right? Also the new field at Glenbrook is a lot like Evanston short in right, but with a high wall.

If it is possible, please give dimensions. I think it will give some of us a better idea of the launching pads. I have heard that one team in the South Seven Conference has a diamond that is 250 feet down the right field line. Wow, I used to hit softball out of parks 50 feet bigger than that. I don't know if it is ture since we don't play that team.
