Hey everyone I am new and need your advice. Im currently a sophmore at a small private school in Princeton, New Jersey. I have been playing baseball and other sports for years, always having the deepest love for baseball. I am a shortstop/second basemen and occasional pitcher. Last year I played quite a lot for a freshmen on the junior varisty team. Practices and tryouts have recently started and I have been playing a great deal with the varsity team. The practices seem very intense and the coaches are very unconsiderit and kind. I loved the game at the junior varisty level but I am very unsure about the varisty and collegiate levels. Outside of school I play a lot of tennis, its a natural sport to me and I am quite good and just play for fun. I am considering leaving the game of baseball that I so dearly loved to try tennis at school. I was wanting to know if anyone had any advice to me as to how you know when its time to leave the game? I would really appreciate all of your inputs and thoughts.

You may feel that tryouts are monotnous and annoying because of the amount of people and that the coaches may not know you. But soon, players will be cut and you'll have more fun at practice because everyone there is now "the team" and you'll get to know the coaches more.
I say- work hard. You know you love baseball- once tryouts are done with, you'll feel the love of the game again.
