cabbagedad,

I'm old enough to know it doesn't matter how many teams are in the Big 10. The Big 10 will always be the Big 10 to me.

I can't say I'm too fond of the names or naming convention they came up with for the two Big 10 divisions. IMHO the names (Legends & Leaders) don't really associate with either the branding or history of the conference....which is most identified with football. For example the Ivy League has the (Lou) Gehrig and (Red) Rolfe divisions in baseball. Gehrig from Columbia Univ and Rolfe from Dartmouth. I would like to have seen something from the Big 10 that pays tribute to a great player, coach or executive from one of their schools. IMHO they missed an opportunity to market their brand a lot better, and tie it back to the sport.
