Nashua Chiefs in the Winners bracket play Nashua Marauders on thursday. Probably the game will be at Nashua South Field with AJ Bajdanes (Chiefs) against Kyle Turner (Marauders).

Shipbuilder I agree with you, what is the benefit for Bazdanes to play in this league instead of the Sunset, North Shore or some of the other local college leagues against college level talent. However on the flip side what a great experience for a high school hitter to face a pitcher of that calliber. www.nsbl.org is a great league for players in college, check out their site, it is a well run program that draws some of the top talent from southern nh and north shore of mass.
He is 16 and graduates in 2011 so he is a Junior at NN. Looking at the Nashua Telegraph Bazdanes pitched last night against Salem and had a no-hitter until the 7th inning, so he won't be pitching Thursday. Every time he has pitched since I have been following the paper he has pretty much pitched a 1 or 2 hitter each time. Not sure why he didn't play with Lowell, Sanford, or Keene in the (NECBL).
