20 days til SIU opens.....na na na na na....I get my FIX before you get yours!!!!

2ndbasemom, where are they opening? If you are down in carbondale let me know, and well meet up.

Kenny, we'll be down at SIU with NIU March 2,3, and 4th. Should be able to catch the first 45 minutes of your games on Sat. & Sunday. I know Beatty is at Logan - are Anna and Craven also still there?

I spoke to Coach Halsted last summer at a tournament and I heard that Craven was not returning to Logan this year. I'm not sure where he ended up. I believe Deano is still there and I think I saw somewhere earlier on this site that he's signed with Ball State for next year.

Just 17 days (if my count is right) until my nephew Luke Stewart (Normal West) and his Georgia Bulldog teammates open the season against Oregon State. Can't come fast enough!

Deano is here and he is a stud, and he did sign with ball state in Nov. Craven is at triton, and Beatty transfered from triton.

Kenny, we should be able to see about 2 innings of your Sat/Sun games as we play one hour later than you. Hope the weather is better than last year. Had been nice the week before we played there and we saw low, low 40's and rain for 3 days.
We'll look you up when we arrive. Staying with relatives in Carterville. I remember a pretty good steak/rib restaurant right near the new ballpark.
