Yep, this seems like a good philosophy. Extending it from the individiual to the team, examine the Michigan and Appalacian State game today. Before the game, every fan or expert in America would predict this was no contest on paper. I am sure Michigan's players are rated higher individually but the best team won today. The game is not played on paper obviously.
