I have a couple kids on my 12U team that are great contact guys, hit to all fields but don't drive the ball consistently. They both get out on their front side and lose any leverage from their bottom half.

I have had difficulty correcting this so any idea's or drills would be appreciated. I don't know if this description will help, but picture a right handed hitter at contact with his whole left side, chest to ankle in a straight vertical line. Basically hitting on top of their left side instead of against it.

Have you tried a "no stride" stance? Get them to start off with their feet already where they would be after the stride. They can pick their foot up and put it back down, but no stride forward.

Epstein says that putting the bat between the feet is usually a good indicator of where they should be. My son felt very uncomfortable at first, but he got used to it and it helped him with lunging.
