Coach Clark,
Should I tell them about how you told us that you were going to pitch a little ole soph. against us? Seems you forgot to tell us that he was also a lineman on the football team and there wasn't anything small about him. biglaugh

All that aside, the Memphis schools put on a fine tournament and the coaches will help with places to practice and tell you their favorite eating establishment. Smile
Karns has a new coach that I haven't met and I don't have an iron in the fire this year even thought two of the football coaches have told the young son that the baseball team could use him. He is convinced he is a football player and I stay out of the discussion.

I wish the new coach success with the team and the parents. He has his job cut out for him. I've been told by some players and parents that the new coach can get their sons recruited. I try to explain the coach was hired to teach their son's the game of baseball and win games for the school and I didn't think he was hired to get their sons recruited. The high school coach should be helpful in answering any questions by scouts and college coaches, but most parents and players aren't educated to the "Timeline" that is available here on the website that leads the way for getting their son exposure or really having him evaluated.

No, every baseball memory I have of my son is very special.... there are no bad memories. I bought him a set of golf clubs over the weekend and I hope to start a new set of memories. Now if I could only see the ball.
