A performance worthy of mention: Today Blake Kietzman, LHPMom's son, a lefty sophomore for Oregon State, came in to the game in relief to start the fourth inning with his team down 4-1.

All he did was strike out 9 of the next 11 batters, and finish the game going six innings, no runs, team winning 8-4.

I listened on the radio. I sure hope LHPmom and dad were there. Blake is a terrific talent and a fine young man. He is OSU's top reliever, and has had an outstanding year so far.

Great to see terrific folks succeed! Congrats LHPMom!
