I have been to the LLWS a couple of times and it's a fabulous family experience --- total FUN! Make sure you tour the Little League Museum. Williamsport is a historic, quaint town---the trolley tour is worth your while, as is the riverboat ride through the surrounding countryside. You will have a GREAT time! Smile
It's a great time. The tickets for the games are free but limited. What you have to do is go to the game EARLY and stand in line for the section you want to sit in, get your ticket, and then it is good for the day. You can go it and out, even leave and return. If you miss that day's allotment you simply sit on the hill in the outfield. Hope you have a great time.
We were there last summer. Stayed about 40 minutes away in LockHaven/Lamar. Easy but long drive. Section 4 is on the third base side. Seats are alumunium/concrete benches. We flew into Philly toured Independence Square then drove through Lancaster (Amish Country)then Williamsport. We did Hiawatha (Paddle Boat), trolley tour of Williamsport, and Reptileland. It was awesome! We want to go back & volunteer one summer ....

We have tickets in section 4 or 5 for the final game. What are those seats like? So, if you get there early, wait in line, you can have those seats for the entire day? I'm sure we will have a great time. Can't wait. Is it August yet?

Yes, during the prelim games once you have tickets for the section you have them for the day. Section four also puts you close to the gift shop and concessions. Hope you like RC cola.
Welcome to Williamsport! I have lived here all my life. You will have a wonderful time! You also have gotten some great suggestions for things to do and places to see. the Museum is a Must!!!! Also check out the Williamsport Crosscutters! The are a Pittsburg Pirate Class A Ballteam playing at Historic Bowman Field. Great Family Fun!! They do have a website so their schedule might be posted already. As For the Series spend a night sitting on the HIll! We used to take our kids over with a picnic dinner and watch the night games. But I do not think you can take coolers anymore for security issues. There is also Reptileland which is really cool. If you need anymore suggestions or information feel free to ask.
