Thanks again for all the kind thoughts and prayers.
Visited a pulmonary specialist today (Wed) and understandably the visit was inconclusive. He has ordered a CT scan of my lungs to see if he can better pinpoint the type of inflammation that is in the lower lobes of both lungs. He will also be running some pulmonary function tests, tho to be honest, that isn't my main concern.
Guess it is time to grab the old bull by the horns and get some additional consultation on my own. I think, as my GP originally commented, that an infectious disease specialist should be consulted. And since our insurance doesn't require a referral for a specialist, I can seek help on my own. Tho the pneumonia is a concern, it is the other symptoms that really have me worried and I am frustrated that no one is really listening to me about the other symptoms.
I will keep resting ... gives me a good chance to catch up on all the message boards and free card games on the internet.
