Several posts over the past 3 months have merged in my thoughts so please - no one take this personally it is a general thought.

Sometimes we need to be reminded to live for today. There is a wealth of information on this site to help guide baseball players to the "next level".

That's a wonderful thing. But let's not forget that TODAY is the most important day of our lives. Our kids may never get to the "next level" and we will only have TODAY left to serve as our memories.

So whatever decision you are making - remember this. It is not just about what will help him get where he wants to go TOMORROW (or next year or even down the road) .

Part of the decision is - what does he want to do TODAY. What can make this season be his best ever.

Sometimes we are so busy getting ready for the next step that we forget to appreciate where they are NOW.

They may never get to the "next level" and where they all TODAY may be the only baseball memories they will ever have. Make them memories worth remembering.
