Adam is great. I have seen him live and he is one talented guy. I am surprised it taking so long to move him up.
The 3.2 m signing bonus and 4 m 4 yr deal will keep him a happy guy.

Pitch count was only about 60 for Adam and the relief pitching almost lost game for Canada upon Adam's exit. Didn't really think he should have been left in game anyway Chill, he had done his job...comment was just a way of acknowledgement of outstanding effort today....Wouldn't you agree sir? peace, Shep

During the 2004 season when my son was at a JuCo and Adam was with the Keys in Frederick Maryland........I was still coaching and my son who bats from the left side had to stand-in against Adam. That particular night Adam was throwing 94 to 96 and had a filthy slider to go with it. My son managed a 14 pitch at bat before heading back to the dugout after a slider down and away.

It was unbelievable to watch. I asked my son what he thought....he said, "Now I know why everybody just wanted to get back to the dugout". He was the 3 hitter.

The kid has some great stuff.

It may actually be worse....my son swings from the left-side and with Adam being a lefty with that arm angle of his.....I would not go up there with catchers gear on.

Adam can throw the pill. He will go far, no doubt.

Saw a RHH get nailed with high velocity projectile just this past week....95MPH taken right off the chestplate. He needed a bullet-proof vest fo sho bro. Now that looked like what I think Bobblehead is describing.

The pitch count limit in the first round of the WBC is 65 pitches......that is why Adam was removed from the game.

he threw a fair number of pitches. His only problem has been control but what a problem to have.
Francis is a great pitcher as well. He startys against Mexico. He threw 80mph in his freshman year at UBC. He is up around 90 but he has the control. Also 6'5 LHP. Too bad we don't have Gagne just to spice things up a little. Our bullpen could be our achillies heel.

I don't know you and you don't know me, but I do find your posting style a bit odd and I'm not alone in that feeling. Maybe you're a good guy and maybe you're a quack. It doesn't really matter to me unless it becomes a problem for this board. My radar went up when you started talking about Robert Stock. There's nothing wrong with talking about the young stud but there was something about the way you were doing it that was just a little weird to me.

Then I see you agreeing with everything Teacherman or Swingbuster say. Actually you pretty much agree with anything anybody says. And now, IMO, you're writing like a thug (fo sho bro, etc).

Like I said, I don't know you and I really don't care to know about you. #2-A person doesn't teach school in public forum for 10 years if he is unstable

#3-A person doesn't sign professional baseball contract and scout for MLB teams if anything like you are trying to portray me.

#4-A person doesn't get hired to protect the President of the United States without "Top Security Clearance". (I guess that should be enough in itself to disprove your "feelings".

I don't think anyone here cares about who's who in the world of the CIA,FBI,MLB,who's polish who is not,who sat with who at what game, blah, blah. Do what you have to do through pm's.

Although I don't understand some of what he writes, I see no reason for the thought police.

Seems to be trying to be nice to everyone.

Isn't there a difference between ones writing style "bugging" a moderator and violating the rules.

Furthermore,

I am a very good guy according to peers and others which carries the most weight of anything else. There are doers and talkers in this world, I would like to think I have always been a doer not just talker using "words" to accomplish subtle things. Really can't say that I like having to prove myself but if you back me in a corner, I will defend myself wiht proof and references with words also.

My promotion of Robert Sock was intended as an honor or reward from the best minds in baseball that recognize special talents, ability, and dedication on the part of those willing to seperate themselves and pay the price of being the absolute best as I feel RS has. Shame some have tried to twist that honorable intention around. I acknowledge that quality above all else (by the way), my students are taking a test and I really shouldn't be wasting my time here trying to protect myself with you Jason. Why would you provoke someone by bugging that person on this board anyway?? I would be more concerned with someone that is a moderator out here pushing buttons of people trying to give back, promote, and encourage others in teaching, recruiting, scouting etc.

Found it really sad to see BBscout and BlueDog leave abruptly as they did.... Are you trying to run the knowledgeable minds and baseball establishment completely off this board?? Could this have something to do with you Jason and your personal feelings or jealousy?? Would re-evaluate and take a look in mirror, moderator.
