Hey gang,
Either sometime before next baseball season or after this school year I'm going to be moving to Long Island, New York. I've been looking at schools and I don't want to move to a huge school, and comming from iowa don't want to be thrown in a way different environment well I know I allready will but I've been looking for a mid-sized school thats good in baseball, I've been looking at Babylon and am looking for schools that size. Let me know what you guys know of that area. Thanks alot.

Airwatz,

Have been on LI last 13 years and have son who has played both private and public school programs and can tell you that although most of the private programs are excellent, so are many of the public school programs. Property taxes are very high on LI so get your monies worth in finding a good public school district program as private school tuition runs about $7000 a year.

Feel free to email me at MT07LHP@aol.com should you have any particular questions. Frank
airwatz,
Where in Iowa are you from? I'm in northwest Iowa. I grew up in West Babylon, New York. It is right next to Babylon. They were our big rivals in my day. I can't tell you much about them now tho. The one good thing you will have moving there is you will be playing spring ball and then still be able to play on summer teams. You will be able to do a lot more playing then you can in Iowa. I don't think the spring weather is too bad. It's not as bad as it is in Iowa. Tho, living in Southeast Iowa you don't get quite the snow that we get in northwest Iowa. Sorry couldn't help you much. Let me know where you end up.
