Wanted to share a story of an unusual journey to the Bigs. I've known this young man since little league. Watched his journey all along the way. Everyone gave up on him except himself. He makes his first ever big league start tonight in Atlanta. He surprised me Sunday night with the news. He showed me the video of veteran Steven Vogt talking to the team in the LV Avaitors clubhouse just before leaving from a rehab stint in AAA. At the end of the thank you's for welcoming him, he told Jared that he would be joining him on the plane back to Atlanta to join the Big League Club. Going to miss those player tickets to the Aviators games, but can't tell you how excited I am for this young man. Check out his start tonight, hopeful that it lives up to the dream he has had for most of his lifetime.
