I am a NCAA Div II coach in NY. I am looking for some players that might want the chance to play up North. I look for kids that might not get the chance to play in Florida because of the competition and let them stand out up North. We have 10 players from FL. and am looking for a few more. We have athletic as well as academic money and play a full schedule.
I am looking for a few pitchers as well as a freshman catcher that can come in and start right away. Freshman can get upwards of 200AB their first year. We already have kids from Westminster, Piper, Western, Hollywood Christian, Florida Christian, etc. Any help would be great. The only thing is that its a Christian College. BUT we tell kids if they want to play baseball and get their school helped payed, they can do it. Its nothing weird or sooo strict. Please contact me at beckj@nyack.edu.

I know of a catcher that is desperately looking for a place to play, he has a tryout at the local JUCO around here but if that doesnt work out he may be out of luck. His name is Mike Mandeville, he caught me this year and he would be a freshman. Throws 1.9's and 2.0's consistently to second base. He is also a pretty good hitter, He is excellent at blocking, tough as nails and will work his butt off for you. But ya i throw in the 90's and he had no problem handling me all year, so i know he has the potential to catch at the next level. If your interested leave a message and i can give you some conatct information.
