Can anyone give suggestions for submarine style pitching instructor in illinois or southern WI?

I'd suggest contacting Dan Geisey (sp?), head coach of the McHenry Hurricanes 18U team. My son faced them this summer and they've got a terrific sidewinder pitcher who's name escapes me. Good luck.

I don't know who, or if one person is responsible, but Prairie Ridge (in Crystal Lake) in recent years has had two excellent sidewinders in Rick Zagone (now at Missouri) and current junior T.J. Swank.

Yes, TJ Swank would be the sidewinder from the 18U Hurricanes and Prairie Ridge High School. I'm not sure if Geisey had much effect on that but nonetheless Geisey is a great coach.

Try and locate Tom Brennan. He pitched at Lewis University and was in the bigs for 5 or 6 years with Indians and Dodgers I believe. Anyway, I understand he had a pretty unique delivery (the old timers here probably will remember and give you a good description)and should be able to work with your style.
Tom was my sons first pitching instructer who we still owe alot to. He and his wife are great people, too.

I'm fairly confident that Brennan works out of Line Drive, or at least I know that at one time he did. Line Drive is a pretty good place all around. They have a hitting instructor there that I'd recommend to anybody that's interested. If you're ever interested let me know.
