Expect this subject could get some strong opinions...

I'm strongly considering a job in metroplex area, planning on moving the family at the end of the school year. Looking for a school district with strong academics (rigorous high school IB or AP program with healthy participation, and strong lower schools), great baseball program and strong football.

My freshman boy is 6-2 /170 (and growing daily), played three sports this year, will be dropping basketball next year. Like many athletes, plays lots of positions -- speed for CF, quickness @ SS, strong arm, etc.

A friend in HP (can't afford that real estate) recommended Keller, another said Coppell and of course there is SLC.

Suggestions? And as for summer teams, would assume the better teams have full rosters but might entertain a late tryout.

this is quite a comical post.

the bidding begins (ha ha ha)
I thought this only went on in south texas (hahaha)

why dont you go to the school that is closest to you and your wifes place of work.

Just kidding I guess you have the right to go wherever you would like for your son to go to if you purchase a home in that school district. Pretty good idea to scout out the districts before you purchase a home.

good luck!!!
