after our season ending conference with our showcase coaches we began making a list schools that offer my players potential major. The list of baseball programs is pretty limited but LL fits the bill. I went to the web site and saw the vast majority of the players were from the immediate gulf coast region LA in particular. We are mid Atlantic. Looks like the program has a great following and super facilities and has enjoyed a great deal of success over the years.

I search in the forum produced nothing. Anyone familiar?

Great baseball atmosphere and great fans!
My Son played against them in Lafayette last season, and he said their fans were really into it and were very funny in their cheers, but respectful of opponents.

They have the best baseball names of any team we played last year!

Gotta love these:

Alex Spikes
Chase Traffica
Jon Masch
Michael Faul
Lance Marvel
Trask Switzenberg

They also shared their post-game meal with our guys after the game.
Very classy!
bsd, I am a big fan of the program with a UL graduate/RHP in the family. It is a well-run, classy program. Very qualified and stable coaching staff. They just installed a field turf surface, which means no rainouts or moving that %^&#@#*$* tarp around anymore. The games are well attended (2,000+) and the players are treated well around town. If I can help let me know.
