M wood bats

I believe Louisville Slugger makes those bats.

Louisville is making those bats. Currently only available to pro players through thier new pro player program. Pro includes MLB, minor league and Indy league players. AS long as you have a APBPA number (Association of Professional Ball Players of America).

Thanks Lefty and Glove, just in time for Christmas sounds like a marketing ploy. I sure I will bite just as I have in the past. Just double the price and say it is from select wood grains, hand finished and balanced to optimize the sweet spot. Sounds like baseball is turning into golf on the equipment side. Just a thought.

The "M" you are describing is the Mizuno logo.

Is this the one you are referring to?

The block M is the Louisville. It seem to get a lot of use on the NL and AL. But so does the Canadian bat (Sambat) that sold out to Wilson.
Matsui is swinging the Mizuno, boy is he hot.
Beltran could swing a broom and get a hit he is so smooth.

I think Beltan uses the Old Hickory brand, which I've seen a lot of lately.

But you're right, he could probably use a broom (and they'd be out just in time for X-mas )

Speaking of bats, we all know that Sam Holman of SamBat sold his company to Wilson, well apparently he is starting another one, named King Bat. Check out these pics of a King Bat and you'll see the similarities.

I, too, was wondering about those bats I've seen on tv. The trademark was an M with something undistinguishing to the left of the M. Not a mizuno M, I dont even think it was the louisville m9 pictured above. Maybe we get some more info on here.
