yes there is some very good baseball played in the very UNDER-RATED MAC, and some very good players have been developed and come out of the confernce as well - even former bottom dweller Toledo produced a 1rst round pick in catcher Mitch Meir recently

they have been moving to shake the Mid-Major "lack of respect" label by continued scheduling & success vs strong major DI programs

Ball St's Beals has proven himself, Strick is settling in at a proven Kent program, Akron competes every yr, Carbone has been at OU since Truman was president, I believe -
even Toledo has commited to baseball with the recent coaching changes
most MAC schools travel south alot early and it shows

good education an an entire conference within about a 150 mile radius deserves your consideration if you have the opportunity
