I am a primary pitcher and outfielder for my HS team...I have been working out 6 days a week in the mornings since Thanksgiving with the team and have progressed a lot strength-wise. As the season kicks up into full swing (late up here in the northeast), we focus a lot on the baseball aspect and less on the strength. WHile we do conditioning (sprints, long distance, etc.) coach has stressed that we will have "maintenance days" every once in a while in the weight room. While this is of no fault to him because of space/time constraints, etc. However, I don't want to lose what I have done. What are some good workouts I can do on the side to maintain the strength I have gained without hurting myself for the season? Thanks.
