* Master your swing. It’s an art that requires dedication, commitment, passion, patience, aggressiveness, physical & visual training and much more. As a hitter you have built in statistics to fail. Be ok with learning from your mistakes as a young hitter and positive self-talk is the #1 requirement if you want to become an elite hitter.
* Remember to not chase pitches thrown out of the strike zone, even during your batting practice. Practice with bad habits, you will play with bad habits.
* Pitches thrown out of the strike zone are designed to get you out. Know what you hit best, leave a pitcher’s pitch alone early in the count and layoff bad pitches all of the time.
* Match a great swing on a GOOD PITCH TO HIT!
