Mansfield - not so surprising??

Agreed fully train, but I can't help but smile that the hard throwing perfect specimen of a pitcher doesn't always win.

I was trying to see if anyone was in west Texas and saw the game... everyone knows JW is a specimen and what his potential will bring him, hopefully...

I had just heard, via pro scouts, that don't count Mansfield as a given to get by Midland, because they (Bulldogs) had a couple of guys who could pitch (on this level just as effective) as the Mansfield duo...

That is why in a post before series, I had asked people on here who Mansfield's 3rd pitcher was in case it went to a 3rd game.

Then I heard that there #2 had just signed with Tech... I figured Mansfield might be in trouble after I saw they lost game #1...

So SWAC... nobody here (at least not me) trying to bait anyone... just curious if anyone saw series...

I was going to ask about SLC and Midland, but I guess I shouldn't..

Not surprised because Mansfield lost but more surprised because most overlooked Midland. The West Texas teams have a rich tradition and success in the playoffs.

SL will have more than their hands full this week.
