DEREK Lowe? He got demoted all the way back to high school? I can believe it. 
You sure his name is Derek? My son's team played against his legion team (actually eliminated Sudbury from States) but i thought he had a different first name.

For some reason he's listed on the Sudbury Legion roster as "Jarrot" Lowe. But if you Google "Derek Lowe" and "Lincoln-Sudbury" you will find that he really is "Derek Lowe." And he is good. Congrats on beating Sudbury Legion. They were a good team.

Though they were very proud to have beaten what amounted to a team made up of the State High School DI champions (Lincoln-Sudbury), my son's team was eliminated the next night by Milton, the reigning American Legion State Champs!
It's still a great accomplishment to get as far as they did. I saw that Logan had a couple of ribbies in the last game.
Yeah, um, ahem, he walked twice with the bases loaded! But he did have a good summer. Coach converted him into a left fielder because the starting catcher apparently walks on water and he wanted Logan's bat in the lineup. I was proud of him, he never complained once, not even to me, about the switch. Now I have to find a way to get him used to being back behind the plate before his fall college workouts! Coach Plourde didn't recruit an outfielder!

Met Derek and his mom this past February at Northeastern University. Very nice player and nice family...
That's a GREAT winter camp Coach McPhee runs at Northeastern, isn't it?
