I want to thank the Garland Cubs and Coach Jim Perry for their support in coming to the McHenry County Youth Sports Associations 18TH Annual International Championships in Crystal Lake Illinois this past week.

It was a huge pleasure to have the players, parents and coaches as our guests. They represented the State of Texas and the community of Garland in a manner that you should all be proud of.

Coach Perry is one of the most classy individuals that I have had the pleasure to meet in my 18 years with the tournament and the young men that he brought with him showed that he has been a great teacher.
