Well, you may feel fine, but your lower body may be getting tired. When that happens, it throws off your mechanics, even if your arm feels fine or whatever. So you should get in better physical shape. Do some wind sprints. I wouldn't go running 3 miles because that won't help your pitching. Pitching is a short burst activity... running 495845 miles is not
Yeah I'm aware of that. But all the people who are knowledgeable in specific activities know that it doesn't take 10+ seconds to throw a baseball, which is (if I remember correctly) the time in which the areobic muscles kick in? If someone wants to correct me on that feel free.
Running long distance is fine for cross country, but it won't do you much good as a pitcher
