Meeting with Coach before July 1

We will be visiing various campuses in MA in the next few weeks with my 07. One of the d1 coaches agreed to meet and speak with him. They have spoken before when we attended one of their games. It that OK before July 1?

Also, What are some of the things we should ask about the program?

It is OK for you and/or your son to speak with a coach and attend the games and meet with them on campus before July1 as long as you have initiated the contact and the college is not payi9ng for anything.

With regard to questions you or your son [preferably your son] migh ask about the program, I found some very good questions on www.ncaaclearinghouse.net beginning on page 19 of the COLLEGE BOUND STUDENT ATHLETE GUIDE. Also, do some research on the website of the college baseball team so that your son can discuss who might be playing his position now and who might be leaving and when and who else they might be recruiting for that position.
