Last Week's Winner: Savannah Harmon
***WEEKLY WINNER (March 17-23)***
Savannah is an extremely hard worker in everything she does from taking BP to lifting and conditioning. She is a leader that players want to follow, not one that they have to follow. She hit three homeruns in two games with nine RBI'S this week. She is a big reason the Colbert Lady Leopards currently have a #1 ranking in class 4A in Oklahoma.

This week Brett has gone 9 for 11 with 2HR's, 5 Doubles, 11 RBI's, and 8 Runs scored in the Medina Valley Panthers 3 wins.

Trey Teakell, Weatherford , Baseball , Pitcher
In his start this week, Trey carried a perfect game into 7th inning. He finished giving up one hit and had 12 k's. He won the game 3-0.

Kevin Russell, Westport Central School , Basketball , Guard
Two minutes into the sectional championship basketball game, Kevin landed hard and hyper-extended his knee. After 15 minutes of icing, he went back "because he couldn't sit on bench and watch his team lose." He played 3/4 of the game on what turned out to be a torn ACL. He's now a leader in baseball practice, while rehabbing, helping with all the younger players.

Last Week's WINNER: KAYLA PRATER

This young lady catches every inning of every game. She is just a sophomore on the #3 ranked 5A team in the state, also ranked #26 nationally by ESPN Rise's Top 50.

During the week of 3/30/2010 - 4/6/2010 she hit .727 in 3 games.

WEEKLY WINNER: Blake Bass, Coronado High School, Baseball, First Base:

Blake is the first baseman for Coronado HS in Lubbock, TX. Blake hit 3 Home Runs on 3 consecutive pitches he saw, then ended the game with an RBI double his next at bat. In the next game, he hit a grand slam, giving him 12 RBIs for the week. This after going 0-8 the previous week.

I guess he was "in the zone."
