they have a great record. Can they make it back to Round Rock and more importantly win it all?

poteet was rolling this time last year as well and had outscored forney by 30+ runs in district...sound familiar? its way too early to tell and it takes alot of talent and luck to get out of a region that has rockwall, newman smith, waco midway, waxahachie, hallsville, and texarkana...not to mention the 9-4A teams. lets wait and see after the wylie and plano west games at the end of the month. those will tell more than the district games.
I have seen wylie and plano west this year and both are not bad. My son tells me poteet is the team to beat. We lost to wylie early this year 8-2 and saw there stud pitcher who has signed with TAMU. Not a bad team. Plano West is down this year We beat them 12-2 at TCU
welcome to the board panthers. my point is with a month to go before the playoffs anything can happen. you could very easily come up with a state top 10 list from region 2 alone. i think poteet has the pitching and offence to go deep in the playoffs but alot depends on the draw and who else is hot come may. good luck to hewitt and your son.
The word around here was that poteet would be down this year. Hate to say it but i was disappointed to see how well yall have been doing. Anytime we play it always seems to be a battle. I guess it was just wishful thinking for an easy road. region 2 is too dang tuff. then need to send some of us to region 1
we like flying under the radar and knew our pitching staff would carry us but didn't think our sticks would be this strong. thought we would have to win alot of 3-2 and 2-1 games. you have to be careful to not think that you are better than you are unless you come out of 9, 10, or 16-4A.

padre, yall more than have the horses to keep up. hauser, twichell, hebert, martin, beck, and adams call swing the sticks and give the best of pitching staffs fits. should be a good game and i'm looking forward to seeing alot of old friends.
