It was a good day in McKinney for MSL week 3, even if you didn't have a kid playing.
It was nice to see many old friends and HHBBWeb acquaintances --- and always good to catch up with J-Bob. From this untrained eye, I'd have to call the day a success -- 30 scouts/coaches witnessed the games -- a new record, I believe -- catcher can provide the details. I still think the kids should swing metal for a few innings.
Congratulations guys on another strong league.
Mr. Parish -- I apologize for mistaking you with another Rock Dad on my way out today, I realized my mistake on the way home -- and good luck to the Jackets this year.
From the looks of things, the new D8-5A will be tough in '09 ---- the tall Eagle and the new Aggie looked great on the bump.
